About

I am an Emmy-nominated documentary Showrunner / Series Producer / Director. Originally from London, I have worked in factual television on both sides of the Atlantic for over 20 years, producing films and series for MasterClass, BBC, A&E, Channel 4, Discovery+, Sky, PBS, National Geographic, Smithsonian and others.

The subject matter of my films has ranged from the engineering and astrophysics of the Hubble Space Telescope, through a classic car dealership in Miami’s South Beach, to the theology and violence of the Reformation, and the astonishing wonders of Leonardo Da Vinci’s sketchbooks. I’ve helped Amanda Gorman teach her personal approach to poetry and followed the legal twists and turns of complex homicide cases.

I’ve been lucky enough to interview a huge range of inspiring people, from Buzz Aldrin and Eric Schmidt, to Jeremy Irons and Richard Branson; directed celebrity actors, authors and musicians; organised shoots in over 35 countries; and worked to budgets ranging from £60k to $1.5m per hour.

Above all else I am a storyteller. On every project I love digging into the full, bewildering complexity of the subject; and then revel in the process of finding exactly the right contributors, visuals and script to make it engaging and compelling for the audience.
